The district recognized six students who participated in the All-County Music Festival at the board of education meeting on Feb. 1.
The honored students are Washington Street School fifth grader Melannia Accardi, chorus; John Street School fifth grader Nicholas Betancourt, trumpet; Washington Street School sixth grader Elisha Hai, violin; Polk Street School sixth grader Abigail Mauceri, trombone; John Street School sixth grader Fiona Meehan, trumpet; and Washington Street School sixth grader Melanie Osorio, clarinet. Each student received a Certificate of Recognition.
“We’re so proud of our students, and we look forward to their continued growth in music,” Superintendent Dr. Jared Bloom said.
