The district is pleased to share that its transportation department has once again been recognized as one of six Top Transportation Teams in North America by Transfinder Corporation, marking its second consecutive year receiving this honor. Transfinder is a leading provider of routing, scheduling and fleet maintenance software designed to improve transportation efficiency and logistics. Franklin Square’s transportation department is led by Director Gregg Fox.
This year’s honorees were selected through anonymous survey results and were divided into two categories: three winners with 100 or fewer employees and three winners with more than 100 employees. Team members answered questions related to their department, such as culture, resources, leadership, career development and incentives.
As part of the recognition, Mr. Fox will receive complimentary registration to School Transportation News’ Expo West, scheduled for July 9-15, in Reno, courtesy of STN. Transfinder will also cover airfare and hotel accommodations. In addition, Mr. Fox and fellow award recipients will participate in a panel discussion on July 13, where they will share insights into what defines an outstanding transportation team.
