Polk Street School was filled with excitement on June 23, as it welcomed back graduating seniors from the Class of 2026 at H. Frank Carey High School for a special Clap-Out celebration.
The visit began in sixth grade classrooms, where the seniors spoke with students about the transition to middle school. They offered advice, shared personal experiences and answered questions, helping the younger students feel more comfortable about the upcoming school year ahead.
As the day continued, the hallways became a celebration space for the graduating seniors. Students from all grade levels lined the corridors to cheer them on, filling the building with applause and high-fives.
