To celebrate the culmination of their floor hockey unit in physical education, John Street School sixth graders received a special surprise when New York Islanders player Jean-Gabriel Pageau visited their school on June 3.

After watching the students compete in their final games, he took time to answer questions and sign autographs. The visit was organized by physical education teacher Kenny Ehrenkranz.
