Polk Street School’s third grade classes enjoyed an engaging and educational weather assembly with meteorologist John Marshall on March 31. With 25 years of on-air experience, Mr. Marshall shared insights on the seasons, different types of clouds, hurricanes and how forecasts are created.
Students also had the exciting opportunity to step into the role of weathercasters themselves, using a mobile green screen to deliver their own practice forecasts.
