For Hispanic Heritage Month, held from Sept. 15-Oct. 15, John Street School played a school-wide bingo game using vocabulary words in Spanish. Sixth graders went into classrooms and helped out as the callers. Additionally, the school has displayed a bulletin board, “One Heritage, Many Flags,” where each class designed a flag representing one of the Spanish-speaking countries. Students and staff have had a blast celebrating!
