 June 2014

 Dear Parents,

I am happy to inform you that beginning Monday, September 8, 2014, the Franklin Square School District will be offering a Morning Care Program in addition to our After-Care Program for students in grades K-6.

The Morning Care Program will begin daily in each building at 7:45 a.m. and end at 8:40 a.m., when students will be released to their classrooms. The monthly fee for the program will be $100 per child, regardless of how many days you send your child to the program. The program will be supervised by current staff members of the Franklin Square School District. Students will be able to socialize, read, complete puzzles and tabletop games. Please understand that homework support will not be provided at this program.

A “grab-and-go” breakfast will be available for children to purchase for an additional fee using their four digit cafeteria pin code. We are currently working with our food services vendor to determine the cost for this breakfast as well as the items that will be available for purchase. We will be sending home information in the near future with further information about the breakfast portion of the program.

Parents will be required to bring their children to the program. Transportation will not be provided.

Please complete the attached registration form, first month’s payment and return it to the main office of your school if you are interested in having your child participate in the Morning Care Program. If you register by June 20th, you will receive a $20 discount off September’s bill.  Registration will close on Thursday, August 21st.

We look forward to seeing you in September!
